Craig Lawrence: s/s 2012On the Saturday I had several clashes and it was a busy day, running from show to show in the rain, but one thing I would not miss was Craig Lawrence. In the stuffy, hot, and crammed full Portico rooms, bloggers and journos alike gathered to see what the new knitwear king had spun for spring. I loved the beautiful Rose Gold pieces, soft and feminine, with loosely draped yarn all entwined with Swarovsky Crystals, a result of the designers recent collaboration. The colour palette was nudes, golds and cream, a perfectly serene take on spring/summer 12. The lattice headpieces too were intricate and really complemented the collection. Make up was fresh and pretty, glowing skin with a shimmer of bronzer, simple eyes and a classic red lip. Gorgeous.
